It may be in the genes. It may be in all the other stuff that comprises a body that isn’t human … only 43% of a body’s material is human someone/s have ascertained (or decided - “the science”).

But the Stockholm-Toxoplasmosis effect surely takes “the both” to Tango. Like Master & Blaster, in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

As for “the top” that is where the buck eventuates. But since, apparently, obviously, “the top” is never topped off (are those glasses 1/2 full optimistic, 1/2 empty pessimistic, or something else?), it cannot stop there. Goalposts & targets - they move.

“Chasing alpha,” right? Alpha she/males in the Paper & tails Chase (remember withering John Houseman?).

The bloom end, whether flowers or high silicic acid freshwater springs or volcanoes or the barrels of guns, are pressurized from below. From behind.

There was a good essay at LRC yesterday, or day before, by Jayant Bhandari. “Canada: The Great Replacement” Author is an Indian emigre to Canada who says he left India to get away from not tyranny & corruption pouring down from the top - but from other, merely lateral, Indians.

And/but that other Indians are among those replacing Canada (@ a wholesale rate) … & are busily recreating what they all sought, ostensibly, to leave behind in India.

The nervous system is autonomic. And “sympathetic” is misleading: it has no sympathy. And that “para” part? Pure regimented military.

You’re in the army, now. And it moves before it thinks. Then the privates & generals think up stories to explain the movement afterward.

Thus history, mythology, & The Hero’s Thousand-Faced Journey.

Janus & just a pair of forked tongues would be a piece of comparative cake … but no, so, Bye Bye Miss American Pie sings about the lie.

I’m quite precocious. Took a mere four and a half decades to become a believer.

So sad, infuriating and true. You also touched upon the reason we are saddled with much more extreme regulation than Congress (in it wisdom) intended. When the first pass at regulation isn’t extreme enough for the “activists”, they sue (with $oro$ help). Since both sides are - just as you describe - populated (also the judge or administrative hearing officer) by “right” (actually left) thinking drones, the result is a “consent decree”, to which the extremist “parties” to the lawsuit all agree. The public, thus served (up) by their putative “servants” wind up being forced to abide by another set of extreme rules to which they never consented (or elected anyone to enact), and which, if not followed to the letter results in ruination and/or bankruptcy - and that is if the poor taxpayer “succeeds” by “winning” the lawsuit over non-compliance. Most people have no idea that this is entirely typical of the thousands of minute rules which govern every aspect of our lives. This is but a single element of what cannot go on much longer without a major disruption.

Not a conspiracy theorist, but rather a conspiracy realist.
