Sunsets on the Loxahatchee — just a few miles up U.S. Route 441 from my home in south Florida — are legendary. Observers travel from miles around just to pull up a chair and watch as the sun bids farewell to the day over the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, a protected 145,000-acre remnant of the northern Everglades.
My Chronology of a Sunset Series features eight works, all captured within a 33-minute lifetime between 6:58 and 7:31 on April 30th of this year.
Just to brighten your day…
